I stayed at Woolshed Eco Lodge for 5 nights as a solo traveler and had an amazing experience. The facilities were immaculate, with clean kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry. The outdoor BBQ and hammocks were a nice touch, and the price for the double and deluxe double rooms was very fair. The staff, especially Brent, went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service, helping us book a last-minute tour to Fraser Island. The hostel had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, making it feel more like a home than a backpackers. a great place to stay for solo travelers like myself.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Ceiling fan seemed dodgy.

The staff at the lodge were really helpful and arranged a great Fraser Island tour for me. They also provided pick-up and drop-off services for the Greyhound coach, which made my transportation a lot easier. The location of the lodge was also convenient, with a supermarket within walking distance and easy access to other areas of the city.
The bathroom facilities had an unpleasant smell and could definitely use some improvement. the beds were quite short and had head and foot boards, which made it a bit uncomfortable for taller guests.

We found the location of the hotel to be very convenient, with the center of the city just a short walk away. the staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist us with any queries or requests we had. the kitchen was well-maintained and clean, making it easy to cook our meals. Our twin room had a TV, which was a nice bonus. Despite the warm weather, the fan in the room helped keep us comfortable.
The Wi-Fi in the rooms was unreliable and had a patchy connection.

We had a great time at a small hostel in a wonderful location. the place was beautifully decorated and had comfortable beds. the hostel had ample facilities, including a well-designed communal area and kitchen. the staff were lovely and the atmosphere was friendly. We particularly enjoyed the garden area, where we could sit and enjoy our breakfast. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the Esplanade and a short drive to Woolies.
A comfortable and enjoyable stay at Woolshed Eco Lodge. Cons: Almost perfect, just a minor issue 😊.
